Other tasks include ensuring that the procurements made by the organization are effectively measured, analyzed and delivered. He may need to liaison with vendors, accounting department and suppliers. His role also extends to performance reporting. This enables the organization to take necessary steps which are required for the attainment of organizational business objectives. His focus should also extend to plans and procedures with an aim to optimize the manufacturing process of the organization.
